Shooting Star Lodge is a small, family-run hotel overlooking the beautiful, tropical East Coast beach of Kiwengwa. Spectacular Indian ocean views,with white, palm-fringed beach out across the reef to the azure Indian Ocean beyond. It offers a unique retreat 40 km from Stone Town.
Accommodation, at Shooting Star lodge is built to a high standard in traditional Zanzibari style with white limewashed walls, high beamed ceilings and large windows.

- Ten sea-view cottages.
- Four lodge rooms.
Lodge facilities include, open-air bar, restaurant, evening barbecues and swimming-pool.
Activities include, limestone cave, reef and a seaweed farm, bicycles rent, scuba diving, PADI courses, snorkelling, fishing, boat trips and wind-surfing.
